Since rMQR codes can be narrow, they can be woven into bands easier that the original square QR codes.

We needed to prove that handwoven rMQRs codes would actually be scannable

Sixth time’s a charm, it seems

The first full QR completed unfortutely proved unscannable

Basic techniques seemed good enough so we started working on a full rMQR code

Band Five starts on a new higher capacity heddle

Gear has been getting sorted out so time to improve technique

Band Four starts: experimented with complimentary warp pick-up and pixels being 3 warps wide

Time came to adopt weft faced techniques

We had figured out the weft needed to be thicker so we tried 1 mm

Band Two starts: wool proved too stretchy for crisp patterns at small scale so next experiment was cotton

Semi-square but misaligned pixels start getting assembled into QR structural components
